Sarah was one of the leads in the design team to deliver Westfield Derby, the first Westfield centre in the UK. Extensive innovative design was required to facilitate the upgrading and extending an existing tired centre occupied by mainly value retail, into an iconic mixed-use destination now occupied by flagship retailers. A new concept foodcourt, restaurants and leisure were also delivered.
